Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Outclix — the LGBTQ+ business directory and community platform. By creating an account, listing a business, or browsing the directory, you agree to the terms below.
Last updated: July 17, 2026
1. Who we are
Outclix is an online directory and community platform that connects consumers with LGBTQ+-owned businesses, committed allies, and community nonprofits. We provide search, maps, events calendars, promotions, job boards, and subscription-based business listings.
2. Accounts, eligibility, and our 18+ age policy
This platform is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old or who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater. Minors may not register, create a profile, claim a listing, submit content, use messaging, submit reviews or contact forms, purchase services, or provide personal information to the platform.
Our platform's 18+ attestation is an access and eligibility policy. It is not a substitute for legally required age verification by a business, venue, merchant, service provider, or content publisher.
- The service is intended for adults who meet the applicable age of majority.
- Self-attestation does not guarantee legal eligibility.
- Businesses remain responsible for point-of-sale and point-of-entry age checks.
- The platform is a directory and information service unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- The platform may moderate or remove content.
- Users may not upload explicit, illegal, exploitative, or harmful content.
- Users may not misrepresent their age or authority.
- The platform may cooperate with valid legal process.
- Policies may be updated as laws change.
- Restricted products and services remain subject to all applicable laws.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it current. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Business accounts may only be created by owners or authorized representatives of the business being listed. Misrepresenting your age or your authority to represent a business is a violation of these terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, our Community Standards, or applicable law.
3. Business listings and verification
Listings must describe a real business, organization, or service, and all information — including designations such as LGBTQ+-owned, ally, or nonprofit — must be truthful. Verified badges are granted only after our review team completes the applicable verification workflow, and we may revoke a badge if we later determine the criteria are no longer met.
Listings are reviewed before publication. We may decline, edit, or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, or inconsistent with our Community Standards or Business Listing Standards. Businesses that offer age-restricted products, services, or admission must disclose this during submission and remain solely responsible for legally required age checks at the point of sale, entry, delivery, reservation, or service.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and founding-member pricing
Paid listing plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Plan prices, included features, and add-ons are shown on the Plans & Pricing page at the time of purchase.
Founding-member pricing is grandfathered: if you enroll while a founding-member offer is active, your enrolled price is locked in for as long as your subscription remains active and in good standing. Lapsed or cancelled subscriptions re-enroll at then-current pricing.
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from the self-service billing portal in your business dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Verified nonprofits are eligible for one free county-level listing after completing nonprofit verification.
5. Maps and location data
Map placements are approximate for service-area and home-based businesses to protect privacy; exact addresses for these listings are intentionally not displayed. Storefront locations are mapped at their published address. Location data is provided for discovery purposes and should be confirmed with the business before visiting.
6. User content and conduct
You retain ownership of the content you submit (listing details, photos, documents, event information) and grant Outclix a license to display it on the platform. You must have the rights to everything you upload. Content that is unlawful, deceptive, hateful, or that harasses or endangers others is prohibited and will be removed.
Pornography, sexually explicit material, commercial sexual services, escort advertisements, content harmful to minors, and related content are prohibited everywhere on the platform. The complete list is published in our Community Standards and Business Listing Standards. We may moderate, hold, edit, or remove content at our discretion, and we may cooperate with valid legal process.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Outclix is a directory: we do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any listed business, event, promotion, or job posting. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outclix is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or your dealings with listed businesses.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform, and the "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
