Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in method, collected when you create an account.

Business information: details you submit for a listing — business name, description, addresses, hours, photos, documents, and verification materials.

Usage information: saved businesses, collections, saved searches, and followed events, used to power your account features.

Location: if you use "near me" search, your browser asks for permission before sharing your location. We use it only to run that search — we do not store your coordinates.

We use your information to operate the directory: showing listings, processing subscriptions, running verification workflows, delivering notifications you've opted into, and keeping the platform safe. We do not sell personal data.

Home-based and service-area businesses are displayed as approximate map markers, never exact addresses. This is a deliberate design decision to protect the privacy and safety of business owners who work from home.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card details go directly to Stripe and never touch Outclix servers — we store only the identifiers needed to manage your subscription (such as a customer reference and subscription status).

You can update account details, manage saved items, and control notification preferences from your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Business owners can unpublish or delete their listings from the dashboard.

Outclix is an 18+ platform. When you confirm your age at the entry screen or during certain actions, we record only the minimum needed to administer the policy: the fact that an attestation was made, the policy version, the context (such as site entry or listing submission), an approximate jurisdiction where available, and an expiration date. We never collect or store your date of birth or identity documents for attestation, and attestation records are not used for advertising. You can clear your device's age confirmation anytime from the Age Verification & Privacy page. Minors are prohibited from using the platform; the actions minors may not take include: register, create a profile, claim a listing, submit content, use messaging, and more — see our Terms of Service.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage (page views, not personal profiles). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

If we make material changes, we will announce them on the platform and update the "Last updated" date above before they take effect.
